Current Situation:

Today's global economic crisis has affected business and society; and has called for the entrepreneurial mindset from Fortune 500 C-Level Executives, Small Business owners and Citizens alike as we seek to create new industries and redefine the old industries that have lost their momentum.

Entrepreneurship is no longer just a business term, it now must represent a symbol for global prosperity, peace and social responsibility. Innovation and Humanity must serve as one, in our undisputed and collaborative efforts to create new products & services, industries, leaders and opportunities the world-over. We must all have an entrepreneurial mindset both in and outside of the workplace. It is no longer a choice; it's the "new normal."

While we are not all born entrepreneurs, we all must now learn to embrace its new core principals; not only for the growth of the economy, but for humanity. The characteristics of the "new normal" entrepreneurial mindset represents the following principals for innovation in the new economy for leading organizations:

Glenn Llopis Current Projects:

In the midst of Glenn's book launch and media attention, he created a think-tank in his ambitious pursuit to remain at the forefront of innovation thought-leadership and the "new normal" requirements to grow/compete in the global economy. I would encourage you to visit his new organization called the Center for Innovation & Humanity at www.InnovationHumanity.org. Glenn has successfully recruited 35 of the most up and coming leaders in the areas of business, non-profit, academia and government. This illustrious group includes 10 authors and over 20 contributors to trade magazines that include the Harvard Business Review, Economist and Monocle across 6 continents.  Featured organizations include:  Pepsi Bottling Group, IBM,  Tata Consulting Services, Toyota, Kellogg School of Management, USC's Marshall School of Business, Mindtree, Yahoo, Centre for India & Global Business, many others.

Glenn's growing relevancy in the global marketplace has allowed him to attract new / fresh voices and minds to participate in Annual Summits with the objective to help renew the ways that we think, act and innovate. Glenn's goal is to help propel positive social change through innovation. As a result of this effort, Glenn's keynote content is now expanding into areas that go back to his leadership as a corporate officer.

On another note, Glenn has been quite active in establishing an influential voice in a growing niche amongst Fortune 500 companies: Hispanic Talent Development. Now that Hispanics represent the majority-minority in the United States, their growing relevancy as professionals is impacting the changing face of America's corporations. It is clear that Hispanic professionals represent tremendous talent potential that is influencing the acceleration of diversity recruitment, career advancement and market development opportunities. As companies seek to broaden their Hispanic market reach for the growth of their products and services - the necessity for Hispanic Talent and Leadership is at an all-time high.

As a result, Glenn has expanded his reach into the Hispanic Talent Development space (that also allows him to utilize his Innovation competencies described above). Therefore, the Center for Hispanic Leadership (CHL) that Glenn founded 2 years ago has been positioned as the Institute for Talent Development and has attracted the likes of PepsiCo, Xerox, American Express, IBM, Northwestern Mutual and many others outside the United States that request he conduct his keynotes in Spanish. Again, I encourage you to visit the following website: http://www.CenterforHispanicLeadership.com where you can review the specific Hispanic Talent Development keynote/workshop programs that Glenn has created. For your information, CHL has forged an alliance with www.Classroom24-7.com to launch their new online learning center in 2010.

“Glenn possesses the almost uncanny ability to conjoin the natural self-interest of the entrepreneur with a grounded and motivated sense of social responsibility. He makes a compelling case for the idea that those businesses not working with a sense of “Generous Purpose” are neither working in their own nor their community’s best interests; and that these two ideas are often—if not usually—one and the same.”

Brett Mansfield,
Chairman of the Board, Orange County Habitat for Humanity
